Oh Canada

So despite riding through a snow storm from Buffalo, NY to Toronto Canada - I really loved being up there.  At least I didn't have to drive in it.  :)  It was so beautiful and since they have some lights up it was like I got on a plane and landed in Christmas.
Canadians are great - seriously, I think this group up there is one of the best groups in our company.  They are all very serious about their jobs, very hard workers, but also very friendly.  They welcomed me with open arms and even gave me a "tuque" which is a hat.  I had a great time with my new Canadian friends and even though January is a bad time to go to Canada - it looks like I'm going to go back.  Not many people from Georgia like to fly up there for there big convention in January but since I liked being back up North I said I would.  I also could tell they felt a bit neglected.  They seemed so grateful that I was there it makes me wonder how many people go up there to help them.
It's good to be back home though and today we are going to go look at a specific car that I'd like to buy... we'll see how things go.  The bank I want to use is not open on saturdays so it may be Monday before I have this car in hand, but we'll see.  Nonetheless I'm excited... eh?  :)

Some of my new music

If I find in myself desires nothing in this world can satisfy,
I can only conclude that I was not made for here
If the flesh that I fight is at best only light and momentary,
then of course I'll feel nude when to where I'm destined I'm compared

Speak to me in the light of the dawn
Mercy comes with the morning
I will sigh and with all creation groan
As I wait for hope to come for me

Am I lost or just less found?
On the straight or on the roundabout of the wrong way?
Is this a soul that stirs in me,
is it breaking free, wanting to come alive?
Cos my comfort would prefer for me to be numb
An avoid the impending birth of who I was born to become

Speak to me in the light of the dawn
Mercy comes with the morning
I will sigh and with all creation groan
As I wait for hope to come for me

For we, we are not long here
Our time is but a breath, so we better breathe it
And I, I was made to live,
I was made to love, I was made to know You
Hope is coming for me

Speak to me in the light of the dawn
Mercy comes with the morning
I will sigh and with all creation groan
As I wait for hope to come for me
For me

Getting my Music Back

So.  I got a new computer last weekend.  I've been so busy I forgot to mention it.  I've been using G's for almost a year now and last weekend when we were in Atlanta I convinced him it was time I have my own.  :)
I've enjoyed getting all of the settings the way I want it and organizing things the way I want them, but the best part is my music.  Having an iphone is great, but I wasn't using it to it's capacity because I didn't have much music on it.  Having all of my music on it meant downloading all of my cd's on to a computer and G's hard drive was full on his computer so I wasn't able to have that much on my phone.  Well now with my new computer I've gone through and downloaded ALL of my cd's and set up different playlists, one of them being for my phone.  I now have all of my favorite music on my phone that I can play at work, and when I get a thing for my car, I can play them in my car too.  I feel like I got all of my music back.  I've had all of the cd's but kind of set them aside and only listened to a few in my car.  Plus I got to organize all of them on the computer and you know how much I love to organize!!
I also had a fun morning shopping at Kohl's early bird sale this morning.  I really needed some new shirts and now I have them!
Kohl's is great.
