Another good, but sad movie

After having a lazy morning I finally started cleaning and doing laundry. We also put in the movie End Of The Spear. I know Tech mom remembers when this actually happened and we all know the story, but this movie is worth seeing. It was so well done and just really good. G looked up the story online and said the movie was extremely accurate.
Highly recommend.

Busy Day

Today we got the lawn done, laundry done, organized the attic and....

Did anyone else know you can put a shower liner in the washing machine??? I read it on the label but thought that was crazy until it got all mildewy right away and I'm tired of replacing it so often.

I went on line and read that you can if the label says you can and to put it in the washer with a couple solid white towels for balance and add a cup of vinegar and a cup of bleach. Do the load all with cold water and then run another load right after that with just detergent. Hang it back up to dry and not only does it look like new... it smells nice too!

Good Movie

We saw this movie last night.

Sophie Scholl

CRT, I think I liked your play better. They were so similar but the movie was almost too much to see. I cried straight for the last 15 minutes. There's nothing like seeing someone getting into a guillotine in the 20th century.

What's your next play going to be?

The last few weeks

We've been busy!

Let's see, the weekend after the show G's parent's came for the weekend. We went to the Battlefield and learned more about the battles that happened around here during the civil war. Then we went to downtown Chat. the next day to walk the artsy district. We had lots of fun and enjoyed the visit. We also talked about the piano that may reside in our house sometime in the near future... :)

The next weekend we had a wedding on saturday. It was a beautiful wedding - a few challenges - we were not able to enter the sanctuary during the ceremony, but it turned out really nice and we have great images. The next day I flew out to Greensboro, NC for a whole week for work. I spent the week and this huge photo studio that shoots rooms (for the carpet). I worked with a great team of designers, photographers, and felt it was a very productive week.

I got home Friday night and we left Saturday morning for Asheville for our Anniversary. 2 Years!! We stayed in a hotel right in the artsy downtown area. It was fun to walk out of the hotel and see shops and restaurants all around. Saturday we pretty much just enjoyed downtown Asheville. Sunday we went to Chimney Park which was just 30 minutes away. We hiked, saw the waterfall there, had lunch and went to the top of the rock which was a gorgeous view. Then Monday we went to Biltmore. That place is something else. It was so beautiful. Talk about money being spent right and left. Quite the experience!

We got in late last night and I went back to work today. Work is very challenging right now. After next week it will be better but we are in the face of a lot of deadlines and we are cutting it close on some projects.

G just finished making some popcorn so we are going to snuggle or cuddle (it's the same to me Grace:)) and watch a movie.

That's about it. Thanks for the notes on my last blog and for the happy anniversaries!
