25 weeks and still growing!

So I'm 25 weeks and 4 days today and considering I feel how big I feel, I still feel pretty good. Baby girl is very active and today for some reason she's active very low which is not very comfortable.

I'm definitely looking pregnant now considering how many strangers say things about the baby or me. Last week I was in a store for work and the guy that worked there offered me half of his sandwich. I found this pretty funny. I could not believe a stranger just offered me half of his food just because I'm pregnant! Today I had lunch with a few other ladies from work and one of them is also pregnant. She's due any day now so she is also obviously pregnant. Some lady stopped her car in the parking lot as we were all getting into a car and commenting on how "cool" we looked being pregnant, wearing nice work clothes, having lunch with ladies, and climbing into a Jeep. ??!?! Seriously? Short of climbing into a Jeep that did not have handles in it, having lunch with people I work with and dressing appropriately for my job seems to be a pretty normal thing and didn't warrant someone stopping their car to comment.

No new progress on the nursery since my last post. I've working on the design for the walls on the computer but we've not moved to the walls yet. We are making progress on the name front. We now have an official list! It still has like 35 names on it (down from 67) but hey it's a list! Our goal is to have the name and nursery done by Memorial day weekend for the shower.

That's about it for now!

Praying for Stellan

So I've been following MckMama's blog for a few weeks now and I'm beginning to use Twitter as well and have been following her on there - which really just means I get to see lots of updates on how little Stellan is doing throughout the day.
Outside of family and friends there are only a couple blogs I've been following but this one is at the top. Little Stellan was diagnosed with severe heart problems when he was just 20 weeks old in the womb. Through the grace of God he was born perfectly heathy - his little heart had healed. Now that he's 6 months old he's having lots of heart problems all of a sudden and tomorrow or even possibly later tonight depending on how bad he gets they are doing a very risky surgery on him.
If you go do her blog check out her name gallery and you can see that people all over the world are praying for this little boy.
I am one of them.

The Crib

Here are some pictures of our crib and the bedding! We had a wedding yesterday that we recovered from today and so the only thing on the agenda was putting the crib together. We were a little concerned because so many people have talked about how hard it is to put a crib together but we were excited to have it all done in about an hour. I went ahead and put on the bedding even though none of it is washed just so we can get the full effect. I think it looks nice and am very happy with how the nursery is coming together.

Thank you SO MUCH to those that contributed to the purchase of the crib and bedding. It was very kind and we really love them!

We also bought a couple things online today: a very modern bouncer which is supper cool, a lamp that will match the bedding, and the monitor. I left the monitor up to G to pick out since I had no idea which one I wanted and since it involved technology I thought it could be something I just let him pick out. Well after all of his research he decided on one that is technically not a "baby" monitor but a surveillance system! It's actually pretty cool. It's the same price as video monitors and functions the same, but with better range, video quality, and apparently the frequency of communication is different than our other wireless stuff so there won't be any interference. Leave it to a guy to pick out a surveillance system over a baby monitor! I love it.

Here's some pictures of the nursery & bedding.

Here are some pictures of the lamp and bouncer we ordered. We got them from AllModernBaby.com which does not let you set up a registry!?!? Other than that I love this site which is also where the crib came from.
